Armageddon is not doomsday. Armageddon is where Satan is defeated as ruler of the world and Jesus takes over as King and Ruler of the world. Armageddon averts doomsday for a very long time. Eventually, man's evil pride will bring about doomsday, even under Messianic Reign, but that time is not now. We have yet to even enter into Messianic Reign. Messianic Reign, according to the Book of Revelation, will last for a 'thousand years'.

Love for God is accomplished through, free from the will of God, obedience to the will of God. To produce love for God, which is accomplished through obedience to God, one must be free to choose not to love God. To choose not to love God is to choose evil. Choosing evil is not allowed in heaven. If evil were allowed in heaven then heaven would not be heaven. Putting an end to the world does end all the pain and suffering from evil, however ending free will puts a cap on the amount of love for God produced through human free will. God's solution to this delema is to chain Satan in hell and enthrone His Son, Jesus Christ, as Ruler of the world. This is the period in time between Armageddon and doomsday which is the Messianic Reign era. Messianic Reign will last for a 'thousand years'.

NAB REV 20:1

Thousand Year Reign. Then I saw an angel come down from heaven, holding the key to the abyss and a huge chain in his hand. He seized the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil or Satan, and chained him up for a thousand years. The angel hurled him into the abyss, which he closed and sealed over him. He did this so that the dragon might not lead the nations astray until the thousand years are over. After this, the dragon is to be released for a short time.

REV 20:4 Thousand Year Reign.

Then I saw some thrones. Those who were sitting on them were empowered to pass judgement. I also saw the spirits of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and the word of God, those who had never worshiped the beast or its image nor accepted its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life again and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The others who were dead did not come to life till the thousand years were over. This is the first resurrection; happy and holy are they who share in the first resurrection! The second death will have no claim on them; they shall serve God and Christ as priests, and shall reign with him for a thousand years.

NAB REV 19:15 The King of kings.

Out of his mouth came a sharp sword for striking down the nations. He will shepherd them with an iron rod; it is he who will tread out in the winepress the blazing wrath of God the Almighty. A name was written on the part of the cloak that covered his thigh: "King of kings and Lord of lords."

NAB REV 2:27

He shall rule them with a rod of iron and shatter them like crockery; and I will give him the morning star.

The first beast in REV 13 is secular power. The beast was put into authority over Israel, by God in 587 BC. God had been King over Israel from the time He pulled them out of Egypt till they fell from grace in 587 BC. The Israelites had rejected God through their great multitude of sins. Forsaken and abandon by Israel, God relinquished His Kingship over Israel and handed them over to be ruled by secular power. In 587 BC, God handed Israel and the world over to Satan to be ruled by Satan. What this means is that from 587 BC to Armageddon it is man's evil pride, which is Satan, in secular power, ruling over Israel and the world, and not God. Satan, the 'Satan' who falls at the Battle of Armageddon, is man's evil human pride in world dominant secular power, steming from 587 BC to the Battle of Armageddon.

Scripture tells us that the first beast is defeated at Armageddon. The first beast is defeated by Jesus and His army, Archangel Michael and his angels, at the future Battle of Armageddon. It is not immediately after Christ's death, but after Armageddon that we will have a 'thousand' years without Satan leading the nations astray. It is at Armageddon that Jesus takes over as ruler of the world. Satan is deposed at this time.

Daniel tells us that the Beast of Babylon is defeated and thrown into the fire. This is the time that Jesus takes over as King over the nations. Daniel tells us that secular leaders, the 'other beasts' will still exist after Jesus takes over ruling the world at Armageddon. We know that there will be no 'other beasts' in heaven. Daniel is telling us that there will be a period between Armageddon and Doomsday where Jesus will rule the world. Secular power (the 'other beasts') will still be in place during this period. Jesus will rule and supersede secular power between Armageddon and Doomsday.

Daniel also tells us that the 'beasts', in other words nations of the world, will have extended life, "a prolongation of life for a time and a season". We can see that the battle of Armageddon, where Jesus takes over leadership of the world, through Archangel Michael and his angels, averts doomsday for a period. Revelations 20 terms this period as a 'thousand years'.

NAB2 DAN 7:11

I watched, then, from the first of the arrogant words which the horn spoke, until the beast was slain and its body thrown into the fire to be burnt up. The other beasts, which also lost their dominion, were granted a prolongation of life for a time and a season. As the visions during the night continued, I saw One like a son of man coming, on the clouds of heaven; When he reached the Ancient One and was presented before him, He received dominion, glory, and kingship; nations and peoples of every language serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not be taken away, his kingship shall not be destroyed. I, Daniel, found my spirit anguished within its sheath of flesh, and I was terrified by the visions of my mind.

NAB REV 12:5

She gave birth to a son--a boy destined to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod. Her child was caught up to God and to his throne. The woman herself fled into the desert, where a special place had been prepared for her by God; there she was taken care of for twelve hundred and sixty days...

...Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels battled against the dragon. Although the dragon and his angels fought back, they were overpowered and lost their place in heaven. The huge dragon, the ancient serpent known as the devil or Satan, the seducer of the whole world, was driven out; he was hurled down to earth and his minions with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have salvation and power come, the reign of our God and the authority of his Anointed One.

Jesus and His Angels of the Apocalypse defeat Satan at Armageddon in our future apocalypse. Christ’s Apocalypse Angels will enforce Christ’s Law on earth from this time forward. With Christ’s Law enforced over the nations this will enthrone Jesus as ruler over the world. We will have, what Daniel describes as “prolongation of life (DAN 7:11)”. The book of Revelations symbolically describes this period as a ‘Thousand Years’.

Just how long is the 'thousand years' period, during which Christ's Apocalypse Angels will keep the devil imprisoned in hell? We could be talking about the year 34,770 AD. This is 32,000+ years from now. The Church, starting at Abraham, till our present age, is only in her childhood.

In 'rapid flight', Angel Gabriel comes to Daniel with a message from God. The message from God, that Gabriel brings is God's time frame on the longevity of free-willed life on earth. Gabriel gives Daniel a time frame of "seventy weeks", from the time of Jacob/Israel life on earth, until doomsday. Jesus confirms that the doomsday Daniel is prophesizing about is correct (MAT 24). Gabriel tells us that from the first utterance from God about the restoration of Israel, till the 'anointed one', the 'anointed one' is Jesus, is enthroned over the earth, is seven of seventy weeks. We have God prophesizing about the restoration of Israel at the time when Jacob (Israel) blesses Ephriam, about 1630 BC. The restoration of Jerusalem, Israel and Zion happens upon our future era of the Apocalypse. This is when Jesus is enthroned and takes over as Ruler of the world. Jesus takes His Throne over Israel and the world upon week seven out or seventy weeks. We, living in the year 2010, are not yet to week eight because it is still Satan, not Jesus, who ruling the world in our present age.

NAB2 DAN 9:1

It was the first year that Darius, son of Ahasuerus, of the race of the Medes, reigned over the kingdom of the Chaldeans; in the first year of his reign I, Daniel, tried to understand in the Scriptures the counting of the years of which the LORD spoke to the prophet Jeremiah: that for the ruins of Jerusalem seventy years must be fulfilled. I turned to the Lord God, pleading in earnest prayer, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.

I prayed to the LORD, my God, and confessed, “Ah, Lord, great and awesome God, you who keep your merciful covenant toward those who love you and observe your commandments! We have sinned, been wicked and done evil; we have rebelled and departed from your commandments and your laws. We have not obeyed your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to our kings, our princes, our fathers, and all the people of the land. Justice, O Lord, is on your side; we are shamefaced even to this day: the men of Judah, the residents of Jerusalem, and all Israel, near and far, in all the countries to which you have scattered them because of their treachery toward you. O LORD, we are shamefaced, like our kings, our princes, and our fathers, for having sinned against you. But yours, O Lord, our God, are compassion and forgiveness! Yet we rebelled against you and paid no heed to your command, O LORD, our God, to live by the law you gave us through your servants the prophets. Because all Israel transgressed your law and went astray, not heeding your voice, the sworn malediction, recorded in the law of Moses, the servant of God, was poured out over us for our sins. You carried out the threats you spoke against us and against those who governed us, by bringing upon us in Jerusalem the greatest calamity that has ever occurred under heaven. As it is written in the law of Moses, this calamity came full upon us. As we did not appease the LORD, our God, by turning back from our wickedness and recognizing his constancy, so the LORD kept watch over the calamity and brought it upon us. You, O LORD, our God, are just in all that you have done, for we did not listen to your voice.

“Now, O Lord, our God, who led your people out of the land of Egypt with a strong hand, and made a name for yourself even to this day, we have sinned, we are guilty. O Lord, in keeping with all your just deeds, let your anger and your wrath be turned away from your city Jerusalem, your holy mountain. On account of our sins and the crimes of our fathers, Jerusalem and your people have become the reproach of all our neighbors. Hear, therefore, O God, the prayer and petition of your servant; and for your own sake, O Lord, let your face shine upon your desolate sanctuary. Give ear, O my God, and listen; open your eyes and see our ruins and the city which bears your name. When we present our petition before you, we rely not on our just deeds, but on your great mercy. O Lord, hear! O Lord, pardon! O Lord, be attentive and act without delay, for your own sake, O my God, because this city and your people bear your name! I was still occupied with my prayer, confessing my sin and the sin of my people Israel, presenting my petition to the LORD, my God, on behalf of his holy mountain—

NAB2 ZEP 3:14

Shout for joy, O daughter Zion! sing joyfully, O Israel! Be glad and exult with all your heart, O daughter Jerusalem! The LORD has removed the judgment against you, he has turned away your enemies; The King of Israel, the LORD, is in your midst, you have no further misfortune to fear. On that day, it shall be said to Jerusalem: Fear not, O Zion, be not discouraged! The LORD, your God, is in your midst, a mighty savior; He will rejoice over you with gladness, and renew you in his love, He will sing joyfully because of you, as one sings at festivals. I will remove disaster from among you, so that none may recount your disgrace. Yes, at that time I will deal with all who oppress you; I will save the lame, and assemble the outcasts; I will give them praise and renown in all the earth, when I bring about their restoration. At that time I will bring you home, and at that time I will gather you; For I will give you renown and praise, among all the peoples of the earth, When I bring about your restoration before your very eyes, says the LORD.
DAN 9 Continued: I was still occupied with this prayer, when Gabriel, the one whom I had seen before in vision, came to me in rapid flight at the time of the evening sacrifice. He instructed me in these words: “Daniel, I have now come to give you understanding. When you began your petition, an answer was given which I have come to announce, because you are beloved. Therefore, mark the answer and understand the vision.

“Seventy weeks are decreed for your people and for your holy city: Then transgression will stop and sin will end, guilt will be expiated, Everlasting justice will be introduced, vision and prophecy ratified, and a most holy will be anointed. Know and understand this: From the utterance of the word that Jerusalem was to be rebuilt Until one who is anointed and a leader, there shall be seven weeks. During sixty-two weeks it shall be rebuilt, With streets and trenches, in time of affliction. After the sixty-two weeks an anointed shall be cut down when he does not possess the city; And the people of a leader who will come shall destroy the sanctuary. Then the end shall come like a torrent; until the end there shall be war, the desolation that is decreed. For one week he shall make a firm compact with the many; Half the week he shall abolish sacrifice and oblation; On the temple wing shall be the horrible abomination until the ruin that is decreed is poured out upon the horror.”

Jesus is the one described above as the one who is anointed and leader. Israel is restored and rebuilt under His enthronement as King over the whole world. This happens in the future apocalypse at Armageddon. God, through Gabriel, tells Daniel that sin will end in seventy weeks (DAN 9:24). The only way sin will end is to bring about an end to man's free will. To bring about an end to man's free will is doomsday. The time of the first utterance of the restoration of Israel till Jesus enthronement on earth, at our future era of the apocalypse, is seven of a total of seventy weeks. The first utterance of Israel’s restoration is probably when father Jacob (Israel), grandson of Abraham blesses Ephraim.

NAB2 GEN 48:17

When Joseph saw that his father had laid his right hand on Ephraim’s head, this seemed wrong to him; so he took hold of his father’s hand, to remove it from Ephraim’s head to Manasseh’s, saying, “That is not right, father; the other one is the first-born; lay your right hand on his head!” But his father resisted. “I know it, son,” he said, “I know. That one too shall become a tribe, and he too shall be great. Nevertheless, his younger brother shall surpass him, and his descendants shall become a multitude of nations.” So when he blessed them that day and said, “By you shall the people of Israel pronounce blessings; may they say, ‘God make you like Ephraim and Manasseh,’” he placed Ephraim before Manasseh. Then Israel said to Joseph: “I am about to die. But God will be with you and will restore you to the land of your fathers.

NAB2 DAN 9:25

From the utterance of the word that Jerusalem was to be rebuilt Until one who is anointed and a leader, there shall be seven weeks. During sixty-two weeks it shall be rebuilt,

NAB2 REV 12:10

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have salvation and power come, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Anointed.
Jacob, (Israel the man), lived about 1630 BC. The time between Jacobs utterance of the restoration of Israel till today is 3640 years. If Jesus were to be enthroned on earth in our present year of 2010 AD, this 3640 years would equal seven of seventy total weeks till doomsday. The remaining 63 weeks would equal 32760 years till doomsday. This would be the year 34770. The number "seven" symbolically means a great number. Still a great number "seven" weeks, multiplied by ten, "seventy" weeks, gives us the proportion of the great amount of time between Armageddon and Doomsday. Or, if you like the perfection of the year 34,777, put Armageddon at the year 2012. Note: The seven to seventy ratio is meant to be a symbolic message from God as to just how long Messianic Reign will last on earth. Still, It amaizes one when you put the actual numbers to the God given ratio of the duration of Messianic Reign on earth. Also know that after doomsday, Jesus still Reigns, Forever!

The “prolongation of life” happens when Satan is defeated on earth. Satan is chained up in hell at Armageddon. This happens when Christ’s angels, Michael and his angels, draw the sword of Christ’s mouth, which is Christ’s power to bind sins, and humble man’s evil pride on earth. With Christ’s Law being enforced on earth, by His Angels of the Apocalypse, Jesus becomes Ruler over the world and Satan is deposed. This “prolongation of life” is literally 32,000 years plus. It is during this period of, symbolically 32,000 years, that Jerusalem is rebuilt. Originally, Israel was built of the physical descendants of Abraham. However, The New Jerusalem is built of those with faithful love for God who reside in Christ's Church. The Battle of Armageddon is a choice of the free willed Church. The 32,000 years of "prolongation of life" is a blessing from God on the other side of Armageddon. The Battle of Armageddon, where Christ’s Angels of the Apocalypse, defeat Satan and imprison Satan in hell, to enthrone Jesus as Ruler of the world, which restores Israel and rebuilds Jerusalem on free willed earth, is a good thing.

For those living in God's Holy City of Zion, in the year 34,770, do not get to alarmed. God is Omni-Present to all physical time. If the people of Zion are of good number and productive with gifts of love for God, God can alway tell Adam about the Restoration of Israel. This would push doomsday out to, hum...., well, you do the math.

Hum! I wonder? An angel with a fiery sword, standing between man and, the tree of life, which the tree of life is Jesus, in the Garden of Eden, is a picture of Zion. A 'fiery' weapon indicates a spiritual death weapon. Zion, of course, is the Restored Kingdom of Israel. Zion residing in Eden, the Garden of Eden being a place, on earth, where God, very actively, cares for our needs, is a good thing.

NAB3 GEN 3:23

The LORD God therefore banished him from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he had been taken. When he expelled the man, he settled him east of the garden of Eden; and he stationed the cherubim and the fiery revolving sword, to guard the way to the tree of life.
