It is king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon who embodies the great villain position of Satan in the bible. The image of Satan in the bible is developed from the fall of king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon's evil human pride. The "Babylon has Fallen!", at the fall of Satan in the book of Revelations, in the future era of the apocalypse, is relating to the dynasty of prideful, world dominant, God authorized, secular world powers, passing from one nation to another over time, initiated from king Nebuchadnezzar. The ‘beast’, and ‘whore of Babylon’, which are cast into hell with Satan, in the future apocalypse, begin with king Nebuchadnezzar. To understand where the Satan/Babylon, who falls in the Book of Revelation is coming from, king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon is ground zero.

Scripture uses the term “morning star” to describe Jesus (REV 22:16), angels (JOB 38:1), some saints (REV 2:26), and the king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar (ISA 14:12). Scripture seems to use the title 'morning star' to indicate those God puts into authority to rule on earth. As people in the old days were led by the stars, so are people led by human, or angelic, leaders on earth. It would be logical to call someone who bears God's authority to lead/rule people on earth, a 'morning star'.

NAB2 2SA 23:3

The God of Israel spoke; of me the Rock of Israel said, ‘He that rules over men in justice, that rules in the fear of God, Is like the morning light at sunrise on a cloudless morning,...
If you ever wondered why God handed over power and authority to His 'morning star', we understand as angel Lucifer or Satan, here is the reason quoted below. To love God is to obey God. Israel chose hate for God through her great multitude of sins. Israel abandons God and chose her evil human pride through sin rather than God. God handed Israel over to her passion, which was her evil human pride through sin, which is Satan, to be ruled by, man's evil pride, Satan/Babylon. Please visit The Rise, Fall and Restoration of Israel for the whole story on God handing Israel, and the world, over to Satan/Babylon in 587 BC. The biblical term "Satan", the "Satan" who falls in the apocalyptic battle at Armageddon, symbolically represents man's evil pride on earth, and primarily man's evil pride in secular power. The reason that king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon takes on the image of Satan is because king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon was the world dominant secular power figure at the period in time when God handed Israel over to Babylon/Satan in 587 B.C.

NAB EZR 5:12

But because our fathers provoked the wrath of the God of heaven, he delivered them into the power of the Chaldean, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, who destroyed this house and led the people captive to Babylon.

NAB JER 27:4

Tell your masters: Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: It was I who made the earth, and man and beast on the face of the earth, by my great power, with my outstretched arm; and I can give them to whomever I think fit. Now I have given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, my servant; even the beasts of the field I have given him for his use. All nations shall serve him and his son and his grandson, until the time of his land, too, shall come. Then it in turn shall serve great nations and mighty kings. Meanwhile, if any nation or kingdom will not serve Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, or will not bend its neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, I will punish that nation with sword, famine, and pestilence, says the LORD, until I give them into his hand.
The 'dragon' in REV 13 is Satan. The beast, in REV 13, is world dominant secular power. King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, and his world dominant secular power successors to this day, granted power and authority by God to conquer and rule over Israel and the world, is the first beast of Revelation. Man's evil human pride, which is Satan, in world dominant secular power, which is the beast, jumping from one world power nation to another over time, is the Satan/Babylon who falls from power at our future Battle of Armageddon. Satan rules the world from 587 B.C. till Jesus and His angels defeat Satan at Armageddon to usher in Messianic Reign. The bible symbolically refers to the period of time between 587 B.C. and Messianic Reign, during which, Satan/Babylon/the dragon/the Gentiles/man's-evil-pride, rules the world, as 42 months (1260 days).

When reading Revelation 13, remember that the dragon is man's evil human pride and that the beast is world dominant secular power. Because of mankind's great multitude of sins, God handed Israel and the world over to Satan, aka man's evil human pride. God was going to Rule the world in peace and justice. However, because of man's rebellion to God through massive sins, Satan presently rules the world.

NAB3 REV 13:1 The First Beast

Then I saw a beast come out of the sea with ten horns and seven heads; on its horns were ten diadems, and on its heads blasphemous name[s]. The beast I saw was like a leopard, but it had feet like a bear’s, and its mouth was like the mouth of a lion. To it the dragon gave its own power and throne, along with great authority. I saw that one of its heads seemed to have been mortally wounded, but this mortal wound was healed. Fascinated, the whole world followed after the beast. They worshiped the dragon because it gave its authority to the beast; they also worshiped the beast and said, “Who can compare with the beast or who can fight against it?”

The beast was given a mouth uttering proud boasts and blasphemies, and was given authority to act for forty-two months. It opened its mouth to utter blasphemies against God, blaspheming his name and his dwelling and those who dwell in heaven. It was also allowed to wage war against the holy ones and conquer them, and it was granted authority over every tribe, people, tongue, and nation. All the inhabitants of the earth will worship it, all whose names were not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life, which belongs to the Lamb who was slain.

In REV 12, the woman represents Israel. Israel gives birth to Jesus. The dragon is man's evil pride in secular power, which is Satan, who stands ready to kill Jesus (MAT 2:12-13 'Herod is going to search for the child to destroy him.'). The twelve hundred and sixty days (42 months), which the woman spends in the desert, is the time between the fall of Israel One, in 587 B.C., and the rise of Zion, which is Israel Two, under Messianic Reign, which happens at Armageddon. The time the Gentiles/Satan, who are Babylon and her successors, are given authority by God to rule the world, is represented in the bible as 42 months. Though Israel is constantly scattered from one world dominant power nation to the next, during the 42 month period, symbolically, Israel, the woman, along with the rest of the world, is still in captivity in Babylon. Ezekiel 17 shows us God's Church laying low and humble, just trying to survive Satan's rule. It is Jesus who sets Israel, and the world, free, at the Battle of Armageddon, where He takes over as King and Ruler of Israel and the world.

NAB3 REV 12:1

. A great sign appeared in the sky, a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of twelve stars. She was with child and wailed aloud in pain as she labored to give birth. Then another sign appeared in the sky; it was a huge red dragon, with seven heads and ten horns, and on its heads were seven diadems. Its tail swept away a third of the stars in the sky and hurled them down to the earth. Then the dragon stood before the woman about to give birth, to devour her child when she gave birth.

NAB3 MAT 2:12

Herod is going to search for the child to destroy him.”
REV 12 continued: She gave birth to a son, a male child, destined to rule all the nations with an iron rod
. Her child was caught up to God and his throne. The woman herself fled into the desert where she had a place prepared by God, that there she might be taken care of for twelve hundred and sixty days...

NAB3 EZE 17:1

The word of the LORD came to me: Son of man, propose a riddle, and tell this proverb to the house of Israel: Thus says the Lord GOD: The great eagle, with wide wingspan and long feathers, with thick plumage, many-hued, came to Lebanon. He plucked the crest of the cedar,a broke off its topmost branch, And brought it to a land of merchants, set it in a city of traders. Then he took some native seed and planted it in fertile soil; A shoot beside plentiful waters, like a willow he planted it, That it might sprout and become a vine, dense and low-lying, With its branches turned toward him, its roots beneath it. Thus it became a vine, produced branches, and put forth shoots...

...The word of the LORD came to me: Now say to the rebellious house: Do you not understand this? Tell them! The king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and took away its king and officials and brought them to him in Babylon. After removing the nobles from the land, he then took one of the royal line And made a covenant with him, binding him under oath, To be a humble kingdom, without high aspirations, to keep his covenant and so survive

Christ's 'deliver us from the evil one', in the Lord's Prayer, means deliver us from man's evil pride in world dominant secular power. We will be delivered from the evil one, when Jesus takes over as King and Ruler of the world upon victory at the Battle of Armageddon. How, Jesus delivering us from the evil one, upon 'Thy Kingdom Come', will effect our reciting of the Lord's Prayer, will be interesting to see. According to the Blessed Mother of Fatima, in the third secret of Fatima, Messianic Reign is coming soon. So the 42 months, which is the period of time that the Gentiles/Babylon/Satan rule the world, would then represent about 2600 years. Hallelujah! Deliver us from the 'evil one', oh Lord. as we have relentlessly prayed for, as You taught us to. Satan/Babylon/Gentiles, aka the dragon, falls from power at the Battle of Armageddon, when Jesus takes over as King, Ruler and Morning Star, of the world. Forever!

NAB3 LUK 21:24

They will fall by the edge of the sword and be taken as captives to all the Gentiles; and Jerusalem will be trampled underfoot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled

NAB2 ACT 26:17

I shall deliver you from this people and from the Gentiles to whom I send you, to open their eyes that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may obtain forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been consecrated by faith in me.’

NAB 3 12:6

Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels battled against the dragon. Although the dragon and his angels fought back, they were overpowered and lost their place in heaven. The huge dragon, the ancient serpent known as the devil or Satan, the seducer of the whole world, was driven out; he was hurled down to earth and his minions with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: "Now have salvation and power come, the reign of our God and the authority of his Anointed One.

NAB MAT 6:9 The Lord's Prayer

"This is how you are to pray: 'Our Father in heaven hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven ...//...
Subject us not to trial but deliver us from the evil one.'
A being cannot be cast out of heaven. Jesus assures us that no one can enter heaven unless they are begotten of God (JOH 3:3). Saints born into eternal life as a part of God's eternal Kingdom cannot be harmed by the second death (REV 2:11)(REV 20:6). Satan dies in the 'second death' (REV 20). Satan could never have actually been in heaven.

Scripture tells us of people who fall from heaven to earth. In Scriptures, when beings fall from heaven to earth, it is from earth that they fall from heaven to earth. The House of Judah, Adam and Eve, the king of Babylon, the Pharaoh, the prince of Tyre, all fall from heaven to earth, from earth. It is their evil human pride, which is felled from heaven to earth by God. Satan, which Satan is man's evil pride on earth, takes his fall from heaven to earth, from earth.

It is because of their evil human pride through sin that God falls the House of Judah from heaven to earth. It is from earth that Judah is felled from heaven to earth. The House of Judah's "cast down from heaven to earth" indicates a power change on earth. God was King over Israel. Because of Israel's evil human pride, in a multitude of unrepentant sins, God appoints His 'morning star' king of Babylon, Nebuchadnezzar to rule over them. No longer will God be King over Israel, but God's appointed 'servant', 'morning star', Nebuchadnezzar will be king over Israel, and the world. As Satan/Babylon takes it's fall from heaven/power in future apocalypse at the Battle of Armageddon, Israel takes her fall from heaven/power in 587 BC.

NAB LAM 2:1

How the Lord in his wrath has detested daughter Zion! He has cast down from heaven to earth the glory of Israel, Unmindful of his footstool on the day of his wrath. The Lord has consumed without pity all the dwellings of Jacob; He has torn down in his anger the fortresses of daughter Judah; He has brought to the ground in dishonor her king and her princes.

NAB 2KI 24:18

The LORD’S anger befell Jerusalem and Judah till he cast them out from his presence.
When Jerusalem and the House of Judah takes Her fall from heaven to earth (LAM 2:1), it is 'morning star' Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, whom God transitions His Kingship, power and authority over to, on earth. Because of all the power king Nebuchadnezzar then has, which is really God's power, Nebuchadnezzar becomes prideful and thinks he is a god. It is king Nebuchadnezzar, thinking he is a god which gives us our concept of the envy of the devil wanting to be god. It was actually God's power through Nebuchadnezzar, and not Nebuchadnezzar’s human power, which built the great kingdom of Babylon. God humbles Nebuchadnezzar’s evil human pride, which evil human pride is Satan.

NAB2 DAN 4:27

the king said, “Babylon the great! Was it not I, with my great strength, who built it as a royal residence for my splendor and majesty?” While these words were still on the king’s lips, a voice spoke from heaven, “It has been decreed for you, King Nebuchadnezzar, that your kingdom is taken from you! You shall be cast out from among men, and shall dwell with wild beasts; you shall be given grass to eat like an ox, and seven years shall pass over you, until you learn that the Most High rules over the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will.” At once this was fulfilled. Nebuchadnezzar was cast out from among men, he ate grass like an ox, and his body was bathed with the dew of heaven, until his hair grew like the feathers of an eagle, and his nails like the claws of a bird.
God has Nebuchadnezzar’s pride felled from heaven to earth, from earth (DAN 4). It is this "fall from heaven" of "morning star", king Nebuchadnezzar’s evil human pride, which is developed into our understanding of Satan's fall from heaven. Satan is man's evil pride on earth. King Nebuchadnezzar, in a position of God given power and authority and given the angelic title "morning star", "falling from heaven", gives us our image of fallen angel Satan.

NAB ISA 14:12 The King of Babylon.

How have you fallen from the heavens, O morning star, son of the dawn! How are you cut down to the ground, you who mowed down the nations! You said in your heart: “I will scale the heavens; Above the stars of God I will set up my throne; I will take my seat on the Mount of Assembly, in the recesses of the North. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will be like the Most High!” Yet down to the nether world you go to the recesses of the pit!

When they see you they will stare, pondering over you: “Is this the man who made the earth tremble, and kingdoms quake? Who made the world a desert, razed its cities, and gave his captives no release? All the kings of the nations lie in glory, each in his own tomb; But you are cast forth without burial, loathsome and corrupt, Clothed as those slain at sword-point, a trampled corpse. Going down to the pavement of the pit, you will never be one with them in the grave.” For you have ruined your land, you have slain your people!

God was King and ruled over Israel from the time they left Egypt till the House of Judah fell to, guess who, Satan, in 587 BC. The fall of Judah to Babylon is the fall of Judah to Satan. Jesus will be enthroned as 'Morning Star' and King over Judah and the world at the future battle of Armageddon. Between these two periods lies the period where Satan/Babylon and, Satan/Babylonian world dominant secular power successors, rule over Israel and the world. Armageddon has not yet happened so yes Satan/Babylonian successors, not God, are ruling the world at our present point in time. Could you tell? It is at our future era of the Battle of Armageddon that prideful secular world power, from 587 BC to Armageddon, take their fall from heaven and Jesus, through His Angels of the Apocalypse, takes over ruling the world. It is at Armageddon that Satan is felled from heaven/power as Judah was felled from heaven/power in 587 BC.

Babylon represents all secular world dominant power from 587 BC to the apocalypse. Man's evil pride in world leaders, such as Nebuchadnezzar, is Satan ruling the world. Jesus smashes secular world power at Armageddon and He takes over as ruler of Israel and the world. Satan, man's evil pride, is felled from heaven and imprisoned in hell. This is why Babylon falls in our future at Armageddon in the Book of Revelations when Satan falls. The statue in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream is smashed and the tree in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream (DAN 4) is felled. God is giving us prophecy about the restoration of Israel when Satan/Babylon falls from heaven/power and Jesus takes His throne as King and Ruler over the whole world. With Jesus, a descendant of King David, ruling the world, Israel is restored and Zion is established. Zion, under Jesus Reign, is the 'great mountain and filled the whole earth' of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream quoted below. The strike from the stone in DAN 4 is Jesus’ strike at the future Battle of Armageddon. It is at Armageddon that prideful secular world power, started at king Nebuchadnezzar in 587 BC, is smashed to dust and Jesus Reign over the world begins.

NAB DAN 2:31

“In your vision, O king, you saw a statue, very large and exceedingly bright, terrifying in appearance as it stood before you. The head of the statue was pure gold, its chest and arms were silver, its belly and thighs bronze, the legs iron, its feet partly iron and partly tile. While you looked at the statue, a stone which was hewn from a mountain without a hand being put to it, struck its iron and tile feet, breaking them in pieces. The iron, tile, bronze, silver, and gold all crumbled at once, fine as the chaff on the threshing floor in summer, and the wind blew them away without leaving a trace. But the stone that struck the statue became a great mountain and filled the whole earth.

NAB LUK 20:17

'The stone which the builders rejected has become the keystone of the structure'? The man who falls on that stone will be smashed to pieces, It will make dust of anyone on whom it falls."

This was the dream; the interpretation we shall also give in the king’s presence. You, O king, are the king of kings; to you the God of heaven has given dominion and strength, power and glory; men, wild beasts, and birds of the air, wherever they may dwell, he has handed over to you, making you ruler over them all; you are the head of gold. Another kingdom shall take your place, inferior to yours, then a third kingdom, of bronze, which shall rule over the whole earth. There shall be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron; it shall break in pieces and subdue all these others, just as iron breaks in pieces and crushes everything else. The feet and toes you saw, partly of potter’s tile and partly of iron, mean that it shall be a divided kingdom, but yet have some of the hardness of iron. As you saw the iron mixed with clay tile, and the toes partly iron and partly tile, the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly fragile. The iron mixed with clay tile means that they shall seal their alliances by intermarriage, but they shall not stay united, any more than iron mixes with clay. In the lifetime of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that shall never be destroyed or delivered up to another people; rather, it shall break in pieces all these kingdoms and put an end to them, and it shall stand forever. That is the meaning of the stone you saw hewn from the mountain without a hand being put to it, which broke in pieces the tile, iron, bronze, silver, and gold. The great God has revealed to the king what shall be in the future; this is exactly what you dreamed, and its meaning is sure.”

NAB REV 18:21

A powerful angel picked up a stone like a huge millstone and hurled it into the sea and said: “Babylon the great city shall be cast down like this, with violence, and nevermore to be found!
Isaiah and Daniel, who go over the details of king Nebuchadnezzar’s dreams and visions of his fall (DAN 4)(ISA 14)(DAN 2)(DAN 7), are apocalyptic (end times) prophets. Satan/Babylon, man's evil pride in secular world power, falls to Jesus and His forces, Archangel Michael and his angels, in Revelations. Isaiah, Daniel and John of Revelation's are all describing the same future event. The fall of Satan/Babylon, described in Revelations, is man's evil pride in secular world powers stemming from God authorizing Babylonian rule over the world. Jesus will rule the world after Armageddon. When Satan/Babylon is felled from heaven at Armageddon, this is the power change indicated in Daniel, Isaiah and John of Revelations. Satan, man's evil pride in secular power, falls to Jesus and His angels, at Armageddon. Jesus Rules the world after Armageddon, forever.

NAB REV 12:5

She gave birth to a son--a boy destined to shepherd all the nations with an iron rod. Her child was caught up to God and to his throne. The woman herself fled into the desert, where a special place had been prepared for her by God; there she was taken care of for twelve hundred and sixty days...

...Then war broke out in heaven; Michael and his angels battled against the dragon.

Scripture describes Adam and Eve as being in heaven. It was the Garden of Eden, which was on earth, that Adam and Eve were actually in. However, scripture paints a picture of heaven upon the Garden of Eden, which is on earth. 'The holy mountain of God', 'fiery stones' are phrases in the bible about Adam and Eve in Eden which pertain to being in the presence of God. Adam and Eve were in the presence of God, but they were in Eden, on earth, and not in heaven. It is actually Adam and Eve's evil human pride, through sin, which falls from 'heaven' to earth. Adam and Eve's, evil human pride, which is Satan, falls with them from 'heaven to earth', when they fall from Eden, which Eden is on earth, to earth. The post-Armageddon holy city of Zion aka 'Thy Kingdom Come' actually ascends God's holy mountain again, to reside in the presence of Jesus on earth.

NAB EZE 28:13

In Eden, the garden of God, you were, and every precious stone was your covering (carnelian, topaz, and beryl, chrysolite, onyx, and jasper, sapphire, garnet, and emerald); Of gold your pendants and jewels were made, on the day you were created. With the Cherub I placed you; you were on the holy mountain of God, walking among the fiery stones. Blameless you were in your conduct from the day you were created, Until evil was found in you, the result of your far-flung trade; violence was your business, and you sinned. Then I banned you from the mountain of God; the Cherub drove you from among the fiery stones.
The Pharaoh's evil human pride puts him in heaven. At least in the Pharaoh's mind he thinks he is a god. It is from earth that the Pharaoh's evil human pride falls from heaven into the abyss.

NAB EZE 31:14

Thus no tree may grow lofty in stature or raise its crest among the clouds; no tree fed by water may stand by itself in its loftiness.

For all of them are destined for death, for the land below, For the company of mortals, those who go down into the pit.

Thus says the Lord GOD: On the day he went down to the nether world I made the abyss close up over him; I stopped its streams so that the deep waters were held back. I cast gloom over Lebanon because of him, so that all the trees in the land drooped on his account. At the crash of his fall I made the nations rock, when I cast him down to the nether world with those who go down into the pit. In the land below, all Eden’s trees were consoled, Lebanon’s choice and best, all that were fed by water. They too have come down with him to the nether world, to those slain by the sword; those who dwelt in his shade are dispersed among the nations. Which was your equal in glory or size among the trees of Eden? Yet you have been brought down with the trees of Eden to the land below. You shall lie with the uncircumcised, with those slain by the sword. Such are Pharaoh and all his hordes, says the Lord GOD.

As the House of Judah is driven out of heaven by God's 'morning star' king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, Satan is driven out of heaven by Archangel Michael and his angels at the future Battle of Armageddon. Adam and Eve, the Pharaoh, king Nebuchadnezzar, and Satan, are all described as falling from heaven in scriptures. It is evil human pride, through sin, which is taking the fall from heaven to earth, from earth, in all these cases. Man's evil pride and power are at the core of their 'fall from heaven'. Man falls from the presence of God, to earth, from earth, due to his evil human pride through sin.

NAB PRO 16:18

Pride goes before disaster, and a haughty spirit before a fall. It is better to be humble with the meek than to share plunder with the proud.
Ezekiel uses king Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of the felled tree of king Nebuchadnezzar’s evil pride to warn the Pharaoh and the Prince of Tyre. In Ezekiel 28 and 31, Ezekiel paints the face of Satan on the evil human pride of the kings of the earth.

NAB EZE 31

On the first day of the third month in the eleventh year, the word of the LORD came to me: Son of man, say to Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, and to his hordes: What are you like in your greatness?

Behold, a cypress (cedar) in Lebanon, beautiful of branch, lofty of stature, amid the very clouds lifted its crest. Waters made it grow, the abyss made it flourish, sending its rivers round where it was planted, turning its streams to all the trees of the field.

Thus it grew taller than every other tree of the field, and longer of branch because of the abundant water. In its boughs nested all the birds of the air, under its branches all beasts of the field gave birth, in its shade dwelt numerous peoples of every race. It became beautiful and stately in its spread of foliage, for its roots were turned toward abundant water. The cedars in the garden of God were not its equal, nor could the fir trees match its boughs, Neither were the plane trees like it for branches; no tree in the garden of God matched its beauty. I made it beautiful, with much foliage, the envy of all Eden’s trees in the garden of God.

Therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Because it became lofty in stature, raising its crest among the clouds, and because it became proud in heart at its height, I have handed it over to the mightiest of the nations, which has dealt with it in keeping with its wickedness. I humiliated it. Foreigners, the most ruthless of the nations, cut it down and left it on the mountains. Its foliage was brought low in all the valleys, its branches lay broken in all the ravines of the land, and all the peoples of the land withdrew from its shade, abandoning it.

On its fallen trunk rested all the birds of the air, and by its branches were all the beasts of the field.

NAB GEN 3

The Fall of Man
Now the serpent was the most cunning of all the animals that the Lord God had made, the serpent asked the woman, “Did God really tell you not to eat from any of the trees in the garden?” The woman answered the serpent: “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden; it is only about the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden that God said, ‘You shall not eat it or even touch it, lest you die.’” But the serpent said to the woman: “You certainly will not die! No, God knows well that the moment you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods who know what is good and what is bad.”

NAB EZE 28 The Prince of Tyre.

Thus the word of the LORD came to me: Son of man, say to the prince of Tyre: Thus says the Lord GOD:

Because you are haughty of heart, you say, “A god am I! I occupy a godly throne in the heart of the sea!”— And yet you are a man, and not a god, however you may think yourself like a god. Oh yes, you are wiser than Daniel, there is no secret that is beyond you. By your wisdom and your intelligence you have made riches for yourself; You have put gold and silver into your treasuries. By your great wisdom applied to your trading you have heaped up your riches; your heart has grown haughty from your riches— therefore thus says the Lord GOD: Because you have thought yourself to have the mind of a god, Therefore I will bring against you foreigners, the most barbarous of nations. They shall draw their swords against your beauteous wisdom, they shall run them through your splendid apparel. They shall thrust you down to the pit, there to die a bloodied corpse, in the heart of the sea. Will you then say, “I am a god!” when you face your murderers? No, you are a man, not a god, handed over to those who will slay you. You shall die the death of the uncircumcised at the hands of foreigners, for I have spoken, says the Lord GOD.

Thus the word of the LORD came to me: Son of man, utter a lament over the king of Tyre, saying to him: Thus says the Lord GOD:

You were stamped with the seal of perfection, of complete wisdom and perfect beauty. You became haughty of heart because of your beauty; for the sake of splendor you debased your wisdom. I cast you to the earth, so great was your guilt; I made you a spectacle in the sight of kings. Because of your guilt, your sinful trade, I have profaned your sanctuaries, And I have brought out fire from your midst which will devour you. I have reduced you to dust on the earth in the sight of all who should see you. Among the peoples, all who knew you stand aghast at you; You have become a horror, you shall be no more.

Thus the word of the LORD came to me: Son of man, look toward Sidon, and prophesy against it: Thus says the Lord GOD: See! I am coming at you, Sidon; I will be glorified in your midst. Then they shall know that I am the LORD, when I inflict punishments upon it and use it to manifest my holiness.

Into it I will send pestilence, and blood shall flow in its streets. Within it shall fall those slain by the sword that comes against it from every side.

Thus they shall know that I am the LORD. Sidon shall no longer be a tearing thorn for the house of Israel, a brier that scratches them more than all the others about them who despise them; thus they shall know that I am the LORD.

Thus says the Lord GOD: When I gather the house of Israel from the peoples among whom they are scattered, then I will manifest my holiness through them in the sight of the nations. Then they shall live on their land which I gave to my servant Jacob; they shall live on it in security, building houses and planting vineyards. They shall dwell secure while I inflict punishments on all their neighbors who despised them; thus they shall know that I, the LORD, am their God.

Satan was in the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve at the time of man’s fall. The tree of eternal life was in the Garden of Eden (GEN 2:9). Well! Why didn’t Satan, who seemed to know his way around the Garden of Eden, just eat from the tree of life? Then Satan could have harassed God for all eternity? The reason is that Satan is man's evil human pride. It is Adam and Eve's evil human pride that tempted them into sin. Satan, which Satan is man's evil human pride, fell along with Adam and Eve, at there fall to earth from Eden, which Eden is on earth, yet described as heaven. It is in the Garden of Eden that man’s evil pride, which grows into a great multitude of evil sins, was conceived. The great cedar of evil human pride, which is Satan, that falls at Armageddon, was conceived in the Garden of Eden.

NAB GEN 3:4

But the serpent said to the woman: “You certainly will not die! No, God knows well that the moment you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods

NAB SIR 10:12

The beginning of pride is man’s stubbornness in withdrawing his heart from his Maker; For pride is the reservoir of sin, a source which runs over with vice; Because of it God sends unheard-of afflictions and brings men to utter ruin.
Daniel and Isaiah are apocalyptic (end times) biblical prophets. Daniel and Isaiah are the heavy hitters of apocalyptic prophecy in the Bible. They are equal to, or greater than, even John of the New Testament, Book of Revelations. Daniel and Isaiah are not writing to us in scriptures to tell us about the rise and fall of an obscure individual king who lived 2600 years ago. God is using King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream from God, of the fall of his evil human pride, to teach us about the fall of mankind's evil human pride in the future era of the apocalypse. King Nebuchadnezzar’s human pride taking a fall from heaven in Daniel 4, quoted below, is symbolic for mankind's human pride taking its fall at Armageddon. The Book of Revelations tells us that Satan, precisely God's 'morning star', Nebuchadnezzar (Babylon), falls in the future apocalypse, at Armageddon. Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of the fall of his evil human pride from heaven, described as the cedar tree, quoted below, like his dream of his statue being smashed, is God prophesying to us of the fall of mankind’s evil pride at our future Battle of Armageddon. Jesus will smash human pride, pride in secular power and human pride in individual’s hearts, at Armageddon. Jesus will Rule the earth at the fall from heaven of man's evil pride, Satan, which is the symbolic huge cedar of Babylon and the statue of Nebuchadnezzar.

NAB DAN 4:5

Finally there came before me Daniel, whose name is Belteshazzar after the name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy God. I repeated the dream to him: “Belteshazzar, chief of the magicians, I know that the spirit of the holy God is in you and no mystery is too difficult for you; tell me the meaning of the visions that I saw in my dream.

“These were the visions I saw while in bed: I saw a tree of great height at the center of the world. It was large and strong, with its top touching the heavens, and it could be seen to the ends of the earth. Its leaves were beautiful and its fruit abundant, providing food for all. Under it the wild beasts found shade, in its branches the birds of the air nested; all men ate of it. In the vision I saw while in bed, a holy sentinel came down from heaven, and cried out:

‘Cut down the tree and lop off its branches, strip off its leaves and scatter its fruit; let the beasts flee its shade, and the birds its branches. But leave in the earth its stump and roots, fettered with iron and bronze,

NAB2 REV 18:1

After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth became illumined by his splendor. He cried out in a mighty voice: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great.

NAB REV 20:1

Thousand Year Reign. Then I saw an angel come down from heaven, holding the key to the abyss and a huge chain in his hand. He seized the dragon, the ancient serpent, who is the devil or Satan, and chained him up for a thousand years. The angel hurled him into the abyss, which he closed and sealed over him. He did this so that the dragon might not lead the nations astray until the thousand years are over. After this, the dragon is to be released for a short time.

NAB2 DAN 7:11

I watched, then, from the first of the arrogant words which the horn spoke, until the beast was slain and its body thrown into the fire to be burnt up. The other beasts, which also lost their dominion, were granted a prolongation of life for a time and a season. As the visions during the night continued, I saw One like a son of man coming, on the clouds of heaven; When he reached the Ancient One and was presented before him, He received dominion, glory, and kingship; nations and peoples of every language serve him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that shall not be taken away, his kingship shall not be destroyed.

NAB REV 22:16

"It is I, Jesus, who have sent my angel to give you this testimony about the churches. I am the Root and Offspring of David, the Morning Star shining bright."
DAN 4 Continued : in the grass of the field. Let him be bathed with the dew of heaven; his lot be to eat, among beasts, the grass of the earth. Let his mind be changed from the human; let him be given the sense of a beast, till seven years pass over him. By decree of the sentinels is this decided, by order of the holy ones, this sentence; That all who live may know that the Most High rules over the kingdom of men: He can give it to whom he will, or set over it the lowliest of men.’

“This is the dream that I, King Nebuchadnezzar, had. Now, Belteshazzar, tell me its meaning. Although none of the wise men in my kingdom can tell me the meaning, you can, because the spirit of the holy God is in you.”

Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was appalled for a while, terrified by his thoughts. “Belteshazzar,” the king said to him, “let not the dream or its meaning terrify you.” “My lord,” Belteshazzar replied, “this dream should be for your enemies, and its meaning for your foes. The large, strong tree that you saw, with its top touching the heavens, that could be seen by the whole earth, which had beautiful foliage and abundant fruit, providing food for all, under which the wild beasts lived, and in whose branches the birds of the air dwelt—you are that tree, O king, large and strong! Your majesty has become so great as to touch the heavens, and your rule extends over the whole earth. As for the king’s vision of a holy sentinel that came down from heaven and proclaimed: ‘Cut down the tree and destroy it, but leave in the earth its stump and roots, fettered with iron and bronze, in the grass of the field; let him be bathed with the dew of heaven, and let his lot be among wild beasts till seven years pass over him’--this is its meaning, O king; this is the sentence which the Most High has passed upon my lord king: You shall be cast out from among men and dwell with wild beasts; you shall be given grass to eat like an ox and be bathed with the dew of heaven; seven years shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules over the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will. The command that the stump and roots of the tree are to be left means that your kingdom shall be preserved for you, once you have learned it is heaven that rules. Therefore, O king, take my advice; atone for your sins by good deeds, and for your misdeeds by kindness to the poor; then your prosperity will be long.”

NAB2 REV 18:8

Therefore, her plagues will come in one day, pestilence, grief, and famine; she will be consumed by fire. For mighty is the Lord God who judges her.” The kings of the earth who had intercourse with her in their wantonness will weep and mourn over her when they see the smoke of her pyre. They will keep their distance for fear of the torment inflicted on her, and they will say: “Alas, alas, great city, Babylon, mighty city. In one hour your judgment has come.”

NAB2 REV 18:17

In one hour this great wealth has been ruined.” Every captain of a ship, every traveler at sea, sailors, and seafaring merchants stood at a distance and cried out when they saw the smoke of her pyre, “What city could compare with the great city?” They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and mourning: “Alas, alas, great city, in which all who had ships at sea grew rich from her wealth. In one hour she has been ruined. Rejoice over her, heaven, you holy ones, apostles, and prophets. For God has judged your case against her.” A mighty angel picked up a stone like a huge millstone and threw it into the sea and said: “With such force will Babylon the great city be thrown down, and will never be found again.

NAB ISA 21:9

Here he comes now: a single chariot, a pair of horses; He calls out and says, ‘Fallen, fallen is Babylon’ And all the images of her gods are smashed to the ground.’ O my people who have been threshed, beaten on my threshing floor! What I have heard from the Lord of hosts.

NAB ISA 10:33

Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, lops off the boughs with terrible violence; The tall of stature are felled, and the lofty ones brought low; The forest thickets are felled with the axe, and Lebanon in its splendor falls.

NAB2 LUK 15:11 The Prodigal Son.

Then he said, “A man had two sons, and the younger son said to his father, ‘Father, give me the share of your estate that should come to me.’ So the father divided the property between them. After a few days, the younger son collected all his belongings and set off to a distant country where he squandered his inheritance on a life of dissipation. When he had freely spent everything, a severe famine struck that country, and he found himself in dire need.

NAB2 PRO 23:13

Withhold not chastisement from a boy; if you beat him with the rod, he will not die. Beat him with the rod, and you will save him from the nether world.
LUK 15 Continued : So he hired himself out to one of the local citizens who sent him to his farm to tend the swine. And he longed to eat his fill of the pods on which the swine fed, but nobody gave him any.

DAN 4 Continued : All this happened to King Nebuchadnezzar. Twelve months later, as he was walking on the roof of the royal palace in Babylon, the king said, “Babylon the great!

NAB2 REV 15:3

“Great and wonderful are your works, Lord God almighty. Just and true are your ways, O king of the nations. Who will not fear you, Lord, or glorify your name? For you alone are holy. All the nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.” After this I had another vision. The temple that is the heavenly tent of testimony opened, and the seven angels with the seven plagues came out of the temple. They were dressed in clean white linen, with a gold sash around their chests. One of the four living creatures gave the seven angels seven gold bowls filled with the fury of God, who lives forever and ever. Then the temple became so filled with the smoke from God’s glory and might that no one could enter it until the seven plagues of the seven angels had been accomplished.
DAN 4 Continued : When this period was over, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes to heaven; my reason was restored to me, and I blessed the Most High, I praised and glorified him who lives forever:

His dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom endures through all generations. All who live on the earth are counted as nothing; he does as he pleases with the powers of heaven as well as with those who live on the earth. There is no one who can stay his hand or say to him, “What have you done?”

At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and my splendor returned to me. My nobles and lords sought me out; I was restored to my kingdom, and became much greater than before. Therefore, I, Nebuchadnezzar, now praise and exalt and glorify the King of heaven, because all his works are right and his ways just; and those who walk in pride he is able to humble.

LUK 15 The Prodigal Son, Continued: Coming to his senses he thought, ‘How many of my father’s hired workers have more than enough food to eat, but here am I, dying from hunger. I shall get up and go to my father and I shall say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I no longer deserve to be called your son; treat me as you would treat one of your hired workers.”' So he got up and went back to his father. While he was still a long way off, his father caught sight of him, and was filled with compassion. He ran to his son, embraced him and kissed him. His son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you; I no longer deserve to be called your son.’ But his father ordered his servants, ‘Quickly bring the finest robe and put it on him; put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. Take the fattened calf and slaughter it. Then let us celebrate with a feast, because this son of mine was dead, and has come to life again; he was lost, and has been found.’ Then the celebration began.

NAB REV 14:6

Then I saw another angel flying high overhead, with everlasting good news to announce to those who dwell on earth, to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people. He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, for his time has come to sit in judgment. Worship him who made heaven and earth and sea and springs of water.” A second angel followed, saying: “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, that made all the nations drink the wine of her licentious passion.”
Satan Repents!? King Nebuchadnezzar is at the head of what modern Christianity, and the bible, have developed into the image of Satan's fall from heaven. King Nebuchadnezzar, with his evil human pride, falls from heaven in prophet Daniel's explanation of Nebuchadnezzar’s dream of the fall of the great prideful cedar tree. King Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, of the total destruction of the statue, with king Nebuchadnezzar as the head, is the fall of prideful secular power to Jesus at Armageddon. The "Babylon has fallen!" at the fall of Satan from heaven at Armageddon, in the Book of Revelations, is describing the fall of prideful secular world dominant power succeeding from king Nebuchadnezzar. Jesus Rules the world from Armageddon forward, forever. As for the individual man, king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, who is at the head of this dynasty of Satan's rule over the world, the man repented! What does this symbolize for the people of post-Armageddon, Messianic Reign? Many of Satan's followers will repent of their sins and humble themselves before the Lord.

Before God hands Israel over to king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, at the 'fall from heaven' of Israel, God was ruling over Israel. Emanating from king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon to the Apocalypse, it is the 'beast' that is ruling over Israel and the world. The 'beast' of Revelations is the dynasty of secular world power, jumping from one world power nation to another through the ages. The 'beast' of Revelations starts with king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. Revelations defines the individual world leaders, of world power nations, of the dynasty of secular world power, as 'horns' of the 'beast'. The horns of the beast many times are filled with evil human pride, which is Satan, and commit atrocities upon Israel, the Church, the poor, and the world. The "Babylon has fallen!" of Revelations is referring to the fall of the dynasty of secular world power which started with God handing over leadership of Israel, and the world, to king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon. God handing over leadership of Israel to His 'morning star' king Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon is the birth of the 'beast' of Revelations.

After the great fall from heaven of king Nebuchadnezzar, with his evil human pride, he repents and humbles himself to God. God returns Nebuchadnezzar to even greater position than before his fall from heaven. What does not rise back to power with king Nebuchadnezzar, is his evil human pride, Satan. King Nebuchadnezzar’s evil human pride, which is Satan, remains in ruins on the ground. It is a repentant, God fearing, God worshiping, humble, meek, king Nebuchadnezzar, without his evil human pride, who returns to power in Babylon (DAN 4:31). It is man's evil pride in secular power, Satan, who will be defeated and chained up in hell by Christ's apocalyptic combat Angels upon the future Battle of Armageddon. Many secular leaders will rise back up to their positions after Armageddon, but they will do so without Satan accompanying them. Secular leaders will rise back up from Armageddon but they will never again dominate the world. Jesus and His Priests will rule over secular power and the whole world after Armageddon, forever.

NAB2 DAN 7:27

Then the kingship and dominion and majesty of all the kingdoms under the heavens shall be given to the holy people of the Most High, Whose kingdom shall be everlasting: all dominions shall serve and obey him.”
In the Book of Revelations, man’s evil human pride through sin, is the common denominator between, Babylon, Satan, the beast, the horn’s of the beast, the harlot of Babylon, the dragon, Leviathan, and the false prophet. Satan is man’s evil pride on earth. In the bible, Babylon becomes synonymous with Satan, which Satan is synonymous with man’s evil pride on earth. In the bible, King Nebuchadnezzar's evil human pride grows to symbolically represent all mankind's evil human pride, which falls at the Battle of Armageddon.

One can ask, "Why does Jesus not totally destroy Satan at Armageddon?" Or! "Why did God allow Satan to come into existence in the first place?" The answer is because 'Satan' is man's evil pride on earth. Satan is not a being but rather a condition of the human heart. It is really man's evil pride through unrepentant sin, which is Satan/Babylon, which apocalypse angels chain in hell. Free will would have to end to totally destroy Satan, which Satan is man's evil pride. To end free will, ends man's capacity to choose to love God through obedience. Producing love for God, which is the Kingdom of God, is the whole point in God's creation and man's purpose in life. Satan can only be imprisoned during the period between Armageddon and Doomsday. On Doomsday Satan, and all his angels who bind themselves to him, those people who, in their evil pride, do not repent of their sins, will be totally destroyed.

At the Battle of Armageddon, Jesus rescues captive Israel from Babylon and raptures her to Zion. Under Messianic Reign, God's people who love Him through obedience, live in Zion and those who hate Him, through unrepentant sin, are disposed of in, you guessed it, Babylon. Babylon, symbolic for having Satan ruling over it, will become, under Messianic Reign, the prison of those spiritually chained in hell.

NAB2 REV 10:1

Then I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven wrapped in a cloud, with a halo around his head; his face was like the sun and his feet were like pillars of fire. In his hand he held a small scroll that had been opened. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, and then he cried out in a loud voice as a lion roars. When he cried out, the seven thunders raised their voices, too. When the seven thunders had spoken, I was about to write it down; but I heard a voice from heaven say, “Seal up what the seven thunders have spoken, but do not write it down.” Then the angel I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised his right hand to heaven and swore by the one who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and earth and sea and all that is in them, “There shall be no more delay. At the time when you hear the seventh angel blow his trumpet, the mysterious plan of God shall be fulfilled, as he promised to his servants the prophets.”

NAB2 ZEC 5:1

Then I raised my eyes again and saw a scroll flying. “What do you see?” he asked me. I answered, “I see a scroll flying; it is twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.” Then he said to me: “This is the curse which is to go forth over the whole earth; in accordance with it shall every thief be swept away, and in accordance with it shall every perjurer be expelled from here. I will send it forth, says the LORD of hosts, and it shall come into the house of the thief, or into the house of him who perjures himself with my name; it shall lodge within his house, consuming it, timber and stones.” Then the angel who spoke with me came forward and said to me, “Raise your eyes and see what this is that comes forth.” “What is it?” I asked. And he answered, “This is a bushel container coming. This is their guilt in all the land.” Then a leaden cover was lifted, and there was a woman sitting inside the bushel. “This is Wickedness,” he said; and he thrust her inside the bushel, pushing the leaden cover into the opening. Then I raised my eyes and saw two women coming forth with a wind ruffling their wings, for they had wings like the wings of a stork. As they lifted up the bushel into the air, I said to the angel who spoke with me, “Where are they taking the bushel?” He replied, “To build a temple for it in the land of Shinar; when the temple is ready, they will deposit it there in its place.”

(At Armageddon, Babylon ('Babylon' is symbolic for Satan), is relocated in hell. The term 'Shinar' is referring to Babylon which means hell.)

NAB2 GEN 10:10

The chief cities of his kingdom were Babylon, Erech, and Accad, all of them in the land of Shinar.
In the post-Armageddon era of Messianic Reign, can one, while they are still physically alive, choose to leave the spiritual death state of Babylon and enter into the spiritual life of Jesus in Zion? Why yes they can. The gates of Zion will be open day and night. Many will repent of their evil human pride, as king Nebuchadnezzar did, and return home to God through the blood of Jesus, through the gates of Zion.

It is man’s evil pride that tempts man into sin. It is man’s evil pride that holds many people in non-repentance and eternal damnation. King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon separated himself from his evil human pride and left his evil pride in ruins on the ground. After king Nebuchadnezzar’s prideful fall from heaven, he repents of his evil human pride, which is Satan, to rise again to praise God. Let we also, both secular leaders and individuals, imitate king Nebuchadnezzar by leaving in ruins on the ground, our evil human pride, when we, as a people, rise back up from the ashes of the future Battle of Armageddon. Let us leave behind our evil human pride through unrepentant sin. May we, as a people, rise from the ashes of our impending battle at Armageddon, to once again produce the fruit of love for God with all our hearts.

Come Lord Jesus! Dispatch Your great Angels of the Apocalypse, Michael the Archangel and his angels, to defeat Satan on earth. Command Your Angels of the Apocalypse to fall 'morning star' Satan/Babylon from heaven and imprison him in hell. Protect us from Satan. Level the cedars of Lebanon and lofty mountains of human pride on earth. Humble the rulers of the earth at Armageddon. We beg of You, Jesus, come and assume Your Throne to Reign over all the nations on earth as God has promised us.

NAB ISA 2:11

The haughty eyes of man will be lowered, the arrogance of men will be abased, and the LORD alone will be exalted, on that day. For the LORD of hosts will have his day against all that is proud and arrogant, all that is high, and it will be brought low; Yes, against all the cedars of Lebanon and all the oaks of Bashan, Against all the lofty mountains and all the high hills, Against every lofty tower and every fortified wall, Against all the ships of Tarshish and all stately vessels. Human pride will be abased, the arrogance of men brought low, And the LORD alone will be exalted, on that day.

NAB2 PSA 29:1

A psalm of David. I Give to the LORD, you heavenly beings, give to the LORD glory and might; Give to the LORD the glory due God’s name. Bow down before the LORD’S holy splendor! The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD, over the mighty waters. The voice of the LORD is power; the voice of the LORD is splendor. voice of the LORD cracks the cedars; the LORD splinters the cedars of Lebanon, Makes Lebanon leap like a calf, and Sirion like a young bull. The voice of the LORD strikes with fiery flame; the voice of the LORD rocks the desert; the LORD rocks the desert of Kadesh. The voice of the LORD twists the oaks and strips the forests bare. All in his palace say, “Glory!” The LORD sits enthroned above the flood! The LORD reigns as king forever! May the LORD give might to his people; may the LORD bless his people with peace!

ISA 29:17

But a very little while, and Lebanon shall be changed into an orchard, and the orchard be regarded as a forest! On that day the deaf shall hear the words of a book; And out of gloom and darkness, the eyes of the blind shall see. The lowly will ever find joy in the LORD, and the poor rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. For the tyrant will be no more and the arrogant will have gone; All who are alert to do evil will be cut off,

NAB2 LUK 1:46

And Mary said: “My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord; my spirit rejoices in God my savior. For he has looked upon his handmaid’s lowliness; behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed. The Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name. His mercy is from age to age to those who fear him. He has shown might with his arm, dispersed the arrogant of mind and heart. He has thrown down the rulers from their thrones but lifted up the lowly. The hungry he has filled with good things; the rich he has sent away empty. He has helped Israel his servant, remembering his mercy, according to his promise to our fathers, to Abraham and to his descendants forever.”

NAB2 REV 10:7

At the time when you hear the seventh angel blow his trumpet , the mysterious plan of God shall be fulfilled, as he promised to his servants the prophets.”

NAB MAT 6:9 The Lord's Prayer

"This is how you are to pray: 'Our Father in heaven hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven ...//...
Subject us not to trial but deliver us from the evil one.'
